My 2014 Summer Bucket List

Hi there. This week in Britain it has been glorious weather, so that has started to make me excited for summer. In summer i can sometimes get overwhelmed when i have 6 weeks off school and i don't have a plan or a need to go to school. Some of you may be reading this thinking to yourself "what the heck" so in order to keep me sane i have decided to create a summer bucket list. Just fun things like go to the beach or even just as simple as go on my skateboard. To keep track of these things I'm going to write them down and take pictures throughout the summer to see if i can complete it (i will update you on that one). So here is my 2014 Summer Bucket list.

Number 1- Tye Dye a shirt, i have always loved the concept of wearing something that you have put your own creative flare on.

Number 2- Learn to play the Ukulele. I have no explanation to this one except that i like the instrument because it looks like your a giant playing a tiny guitar.

Number 3- Create a summer playlist that i can play over and over again.

Number 4- Try and get into shape and feel healthy simply because a healthy body is a healthy mind.

Number 5- Spend less time on social networks. Take a breather and just step outside.

Number 6- Go on as much skateboarding adventures as i can. I love my skateboard. It's like my very own little car.

Number 7- Go on a train to a place i have never been before and explore. I love visiting and exploring new places.

Number 8- Go out with my friends and just have fun.

Number 9- Practice my Spanish. I do Spanish at school and i really enjoy learning a different language. Plus i like confusing my brother when i say Spanish words.

Number 10- Try new things whether that's just new foods or coming out of my comfort zone.

Number 11- Get a henna tattoo. They are just pretty awesome.

Number 12- Have a water fight with my friends. Water fights are fun until you slip and hurt yourself and need to get stitches in your head, May i add it is extremely painful

Number 13- Play messy twister with my friends. A cheap alternative to paint is shaving cream with food dye through it. Warning it will stain your clothes.

Number 14- Make a memory box. So collect some bits and bobs from that summer and keep them in a box and open it in a couple of years time, to take a trip down memory lane.

Number 15- Last but not least take lots of beautiful photographs.

Thank you for reading my blog post about my summer bucket list. Tell me what your favorite thing to do during summer down below and don't forget to follow me for more blog posts like these. I hope you have a wonderful day.

I had a thought.

Hi there, At the moment I'm at a very stressful point in school  at this precise stage so i thought i would open up my thoughts and i would like to hear your opinion, and your take on it.

If there isn't a exam or pre-lim to study for, there is a research paper or hours of homework. I feel like I'm in a pit of sinking sand. Its got to the point in the year where everyone in all my classes are sleep-deprived and just plain exhausted/stressed. Teachers are always pressuring us to do better and showing us the importance of life thinking it is helping us but is really just bogging us down, worrying about what happens if we fail our final exam and what if i don't get into the university or college we want. The truth is that these are supposed to be the happiest and most important years of our life but many teenagers like myself would disagree. We get judged for whatever we do.

My question to you is, what we learn at school is valuable but how many of you still use Simultaneous Equations, Cosine rule. I don't think there is very many.

What are you supposed to aspire to be when teachers keep putting you down saying your not good enough.
You go home each day after getting flack off teachers to do about 3 hours of homework and studying with the added stress that your not good enough. There is nothing worse than studying your hardest then the burden of failing the supposed most important exam in your life.

I am incredibly grateful. Right now i am writing this blog post in between studying for a Spanish essay assessment i have tomorrow(wish me luck).
I just want to hug everyone of you out there that is at the same stage as me, hang in there it is almost summer.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post and i hope you have a wonderful day. Don't forget to follow my blog for more posts and tell me your experiences at school.

My Favourite Skincare Products

Hi there, Recently i have been having more breakouts, more often. So i thought i would tell you my favorite products and tell you what i think of them. Hopefully this will help you keep those pesky spots at bay.

1- One of my favorite all time cleansers is the Clearasil skin perfecting wash, which is £4.49 from Boots. This is my go to cleanser for everyday use, morning and night.I think another reason i love this product is because i can cleanse and exfoliate in the space of 2 minutes.

2- One of the main products that is keeping my spots at bay is the Clean and clear spot treatment gel, which is £4.59 from boots. I think the reason this is my go to product is because it works within 4 hours and the majority of spot gels i have tried take a build up of 3-4 days.It is also pretty compact so you can through it in your school bag or handbag.

3. My favorite moisturiser of all time is the Benefit total moisture facial cream, which is £28.50 from benefit. I really like this moisturiser because it sinks in pretty fast unlike my other moisturisers, It also smells delicious.

4.  One of my favorite brand of cleansing wipes are the Freederm Deep Pore Cleansing Wipes, they are about £4.05 from Boots. They are great for removing makeup, but are also quite rough so if you have sensitive skin maybe steer clear.

5. I also love myself a good face mask especially when I'm having a chill out evening. The ones i have been using lately are the Superdrug own brand, which are only 99p. They are so cheap and some of the scents are amazing. My favorite's are the cooling cucumber and the superfruits exfoliating mask.

I hope you enjoyed reading about My Favorite Skincare Products, until next time i hope you have a wonderful day. Also don't forget to follow me for more blog posts. Tell me what your Favorite skincare products are in the comments.

This is a place where i can express my thoughts so i hope you don't mind. We don't know each other yet so this is a bit awkward, don't stress i will give you a little insight to my life.

I love photography and I'm never seen without my camera. You never know where you might be when you spy the perfect snapshot. Here are some of my much loved pictures.

I love black and white films. They just take me to another era.

I love all things beauty. So thats anything from make-up to hair products to nail polish. I love it all.

I also am slightly addicted to tumblr but we can leave that bit out.

Music is my best friend. From Ed sheeran to The Vamps to ACDC.

My favourite food is pizza, I know its unhealthy but who can resist.

I love travelling and seeing new places even if its just a town half an hour away that i have never been to.
